Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Pain

Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Pelvic Pain
Our minimally invasive gynecologic surgery team offers comprehensive gynecologic surgical and medical care for women of all ages. Our minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons have received additional specialized training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and the management of pelvic pain. Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery allows for a much speedier recovery, significantly less pain and bleeding, and a quicker return to normal activities.

We are uniquely trained to provide specialty consultation and management of fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, benign adnexal pathology, endometriosis, painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, myofascial pain and cervical dysplasia. Our commitment to you is to perform a multidisciplinary and comprehensive office evaluation and offer you a wide range of treatment options tailored to your specific problem ranging from conservative to medical or surgical management. We can offer you various minimally invasive office-based and surgical approaches tailored to your specific condition.

We work closely with our colleagues in Urogynecology, Pain Management, Radiology, Urology, Gastrointestinal, Internal Medicine, and Physical Therapy.

• Fibroids – benign tumors of the muscle of the uterus that can cause abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, or bulk symptoms. These can also contribute to fertility and impact reproductive health.

• Endometrial polyp – benign overgrowth of the endometrial lining into a polypoid structure. This can lead to heavy menstrual bleeding, intermenstrual bleeding, postmenopausal bleeding, and infertility.

• Chronic Pelvic Pain – pelvic pain (pain below the belly button) for greater than 6 months

• Benign Ovarian Cysts – cysts of the ovaries

• Painful Bladder Syndrome/Interstitial Cystitis - pain within the bladder, associated with frequent urination and pain with full bladder
