Westchester Medical Center’s Advanced Physician Services Welcomes University Orthopaedics’ Physicians, Launches WMCHealth Advanced Orthopaedics

VALHALLA, N.Y. (April 19, 2017) – Westchester Medical Center's Advanced Physician Services (APS) recently announced the addition of an orthopaedic service line to the physician services group's suite of offerings as University Orthopaedics' physicians joined the newly formed APS Advanced Orthopaedics.

APS Advanced Orthopaedics offers a gamut of services for all patients, ranging from infants to adults, including surgical and nonsurgical treatments for sports medicine, hand and upper extremity, joint replacement, spine, and trauma needs. All services previously offered by University Orthopaedics will be maintained with plans for expansion of services in the future.

"The addition of Advanced Orthopaedics creates synergy among Advanced Physician Services' offerings and provides the very best possible experience for our patients," said Jeff Freda, MD, Director, Advanced Physician Services. "Now, patients will be able to tend to all of their orthopaedic needs through one provider."

WMCHealth Advanced Orthopaedics will provide services from locations at 19 Bradhurst Avenue, in Hawthorne and 200 Westage Business Center, Suite 115, in Fishkill, along with two satellite offices in Stamford and Middletown.
